In this week’s episode, Aaron and Ryan start a new interview feature called Session Beers. The first Session Beer guest is Joe Vogelbacher. He is the co-founder and President of Sugar Creek Brewing and an Advanced Cicerone. He is also going to be featured in a documentary about craft beer and the Cicerone program scheduled to be released in early 2019. In the interview, you will find out about Sugar Creek, the Cicerone program, the documentary and much more. Joe may be the most interesting man in Charlotte craft beer.
Read this story about Peter Ripmaster who will be speaking at Sugar Creek Brewery later this summer about his win in the Iditarod Trail Race. He won a month-long race on foot. In the Alaskan wilderness. On foot.
The guys would again like to thank Joe and the rest of the crew at Sugar Creek for coming on and bringing beer samples. For future guests, we like swag, but beer samples are more than adequate. The guys would also like to thank Hygge Co-Working for the use of the podcast space and Blank Kytt for the use of the opening and closing music this week. Check them and a lot of other great artists out on the Free Music Archive.
Finally, you can find Aaron behind the bar at Kit’s Trackside in Pineville and at liquidassets.blog and you can find Ryan slinging beer at Craft Tasting Room and Growler Shop, beercounselor.net, and at Craft Beer Consulting, LLC.
See you next week.
